Titan Children’s Fund food drive

A food drive to help Tri Elementary and Tri High School students starts Monday and runs through March 21. Food donations can be dropped off at either Tri’s front office, Jett Insurance or the Lewisville branch of Citizen’s State Bank.

School work session Thursday

The South Henry community is invited to a work session of the South Henry School Corporation Board of School Trustees at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the Tri High School cafeteria.

The school board will talk about the corporation’s continuous improvement journey.

Free Celtic concert at library Thursday

The New Castle-Henry County Public Library will present the Celtic band “Traveler’s Dream” at 7 p.m. Thursday in the auditorium. The free concert is part of the Noteworthy Performances series, sponsored by Friends of the Library.

Musicians Michael Lewis and Denise Wilson will share music from the Celtic lands and French Canada, including hard-driving Irish jigs and reels, sea shanties, and traditional American songs.

The next Noteworthy concert is May 24 and features the Indiana Folk Music Society.
