Alan E. Sorrell Alan E. Sorrell, 61, of Los Banos, CA passed away Monday July 19, 2010 at Memorial Hospital in Modesto, CA after a brief battle with cancer. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends. He served in the United States Army and was a resident of New Castle for many years before moving to Los Banos, CA.
Survivors include, Two daughters Renee (husband: Richard) Lovitt of Waterford, CA and Tara Sorrell (special friend: Mike) of Modesto, CA and one son Brandon Sorrell of Buffalo, MI and Grandchildren: Kyle, Taylor, Nichole, Michael, Heather, Haley, Brandi and Brandon Jr, three brothers Dannie ( wife: Pearl) Thompson, Bart (wife: Carolyn) Sorrell, Gary (wife: Phyllis) Sorrell, Two sisters Shirley Orr, Millie (husband: Tom) Owsley and one uncle Russell (wife: Karen) Mays and one aunt Phyllis Mays and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Vernon E Sorrell, mother Leatha Richie, Brother Mitchell Sorrell, two nephews Tommy E Owsley (Bo) and Richard A Thompson and one great niece Kayla M Sorrell.
Services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in Los Banos, CA Thursday July 29, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. and a Military service to follow at Sam Joaquin Veterans Cemetery At 1:30 p.m.
